Motto of GEF
As the GEF motto states, it will always strive to foster Healthy Industrial Relations. In this regard it restates a quotation: "Social and political progress depends on stability; economic stability depends on sound Industrial Relations; and sound Industrial Relations exist when there is close and sensible consultations between the Employers' Organization on the one hand and the Trade Unions on the other, when Governments are prepared to listen to their collective voices, and hold a watching brief on behalf of the community at large".
